Scholarships

The Ashley Jadine Foundation awards an annual scholarship to honor Ashley’s legacy by supporting students who demonstrate resilience, compassion, and a commitment in their studies and in the community. This scholarship empowers young individuals to pursue higher education while continuing the mission of spreading hope and advocacy within their communities.

Lecture Series

The Ashley Jadine Foundation's lecture series brings together mental health professionals, educators, and community leaders to discuss critical topics surrounding teen mental health, suicide prevention, and social media awareness. These events are designed to educate, inspire, and equip families and communities with the tools to recognize warning signs and support those in need.

Annual Fundraiser

The Ashley Jadine Foundation’s annual fundraiser is a heartfelt event that brings the community together to raise awareness, celebrate hope, and support the foundation’s programs, including scholarships, outreach, and education initiatives. Through donations, sponsorships, and participation, attendees help further AJF’s mission to prevent teen suicide and promote mental wellness.

In 2021, after several years of a strong presence in the annual Houston Baptist University sponsored Sharon Burrows Lecture Series, the Ashley Jadine Foundation established an annual AJF Lecture Series with a focus on suicide prevention. For the Inaugural AJF Lecture Series, we hosted a ZOOM panel discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on suicidal ideation and behavior.

In 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we shifted our focus to hosting social media events so that we could continue to serve the greater Houston community with education, outreach, and advocacy to help prevent suicides. We established the AJF Mission and Mercy Committee and supported others that provided shelter, safety, and counseling for those in need. Our committee chair organized community service and an AJF donation at the Houston Area Women’s Center and the Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston.
