May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Our mission to prevent youth suicides by increasing community awareness through education and advocacy is more important than ever before. We remain focused on sustaining HOPE and protecting our youth. Thank you for your continued support in our mission. Our planned 2024 activities are possible because of your generous support.

• In April, we co-hosted the 2024 Lecture Series with Brentwood Baptist Church at their Ratliff Lifelong Learning Center. Our theme was Caring for the Caregivers: Caring for Ourselves So That We Can Purposefully Care for Others. Our presenters and our panelists discussed the vital role of caregivers and how we can nurture their well-being. We thank all that participated.

• For May, we have launched the AJF popcorn fundraiser to help raise money for our annual AJF ‘One Wing’ Scholarships. Place your order today online. The fundraiser ends May 12^th .

• Save The Date. We have recently announced our 7^th Annual Health Fair and 5K Walk. Our theme for this H.O.P.E. Walk is Helping One Person Everyday. It is scheduled for Saturday September 14th at Kitty Hollow Park in Missouri City, TX. Online registration will open in June.
